We would like to inform you about the notice that we have recd. from our Data Center regarding emergency Network Maintenance. We have just recd. following mail from them:
---------------------
Dear Clients:
QuadraNet has scheduled an emergency maintenance to occur tonight to resolve a stability issue with one of the core routers.
The issue has been classified as urgent and thus will be handled with shorter notice than a standard maintenance.
Date: September 13th, 2011
Time: 12:01AM to 1AM PDT GMT-8
Description:
One of the core routers in our Los Angeles based facilities will be reloaded to have a newer version of Cisco IOS installed.
The upgrade is being completed to resolve stability issues this router has been experiencing related to BGP sessions resetting.
Estimated Impact: As this core router is part of a group of redundant routers, the estimated impact is expected to be minor, however customers may experience some increased latency and packet loss, and customers directly downstream from this router will notice a service interruption. The router reboot will take approximately 15 minutes.
Thank you for your time,
QuadraNet Network Engineering Team
